The GCRA is a voluntary body of residents from Giles Coppice
and Glebe Hirst. We meet monthly to discuss any matters of concern and
proposals to maintain and improve the area. And of course we also like
to socialise! |
Any resident can join the association, at any time, for the
modest annual fee of £5. There's no commitment upon joining. You will
be invited to attend various social gatherings and activities, and will
be welcome to become more involved if you wish. |
Previous activities have included summer parties, seasonal
gatherings and weekend gardening groups. We encourage members to
suggest any ideas that might help improve the area or develop the
community spirit of "The Coppice". |
Any member of the association can be proposed / volunteer for a position on the committee. This can be an elected post or an assistant position (helpers are always welcome!), so if you would like to play a part please contact us via the "Get Involved!" page. |
